An Initiative to reduce the use of polythene bags- Interact Club of DAV Centenary Public School has taken an initiative to make  DAVCPS Chander Nagar  a Green School. Under this initiiative they  have pleged to make the school a Polythene Free zone. Interactors have been preparing Paper bags from waste papers in school and old news Papers.Any one found using polythene bags will be given these paper bags and the polythen will be taken from him or her be it a student, a staff member or even a class IV employee.
