TEACHER'S DAY

 5th September is the birth anniversary of the second president of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was a great philosopher, teacher and scholar. As a way to remember and celebrate his life, work, and approach to education and students, the day is known in India as Teachers ' Day. The faculty with the students of DAV Chander Nagar celebrated the teacher ' s day with great zeal and zest on the 5th of September with students honoring the teachers with cakes and bouquets

FOOTWEARE DONATION DRIVE

Giving is not about making donation, it is about making a difference."  the Interactors of our school conducted a Fundraising Drive to purchase footware for  the deprived children. The students distributed new pairs of footwears to deprived children as an act of kindness.

AKHAND 2.0

"Competitions are the greates motivators!" The interactors of our school actively participated in the competition of Akhand 2.0. All the rounds and events were been performed in with great enthusiasm. The results are awaited and the interactors are still looking forward to more such events.

E-WASTE DONATION

“Waste isn 't waste until we waste it.” The interact club of DAVCPSCN along with the rotaract club of shaheed bhagat singh college. It was astonishing to see such great amounts being collected. the collected waste was further donated to the ones who needed it.

 July 2022

Art & Craft, ICT and MusicClassesfor Underprivileged Students:

Every year Interact Club of. DAV Centenary Public School of organizes Art & Craft, Computer, and English Speaking classes for underprivileged children in the Summer break. The Interactors love to play the role of teachers. This year these classes were held in the month of July. Our Music teacher also took their classes and taught them to sing the famous song which they all would be presenting in Independence Day function. Our Interactors enjoyed teaching them basics of Computers, Some Art & Craft skills and even helped them in reading and writing.All the children enjoyed watching movie and singing together. It was a great experience for all of them.

Earth Day Celebrations

Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in DAVCPS. Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Role play, Rally  and plantation was done. We also had a run for environment was held on Saturday 30th April.

Run For Environment

Our Interactors gave a message about peace and harmony

 An Inter House Mini Marathon was organized by the school on the 30th of April,2022, Saturday. It was held in 3 categories i.e. Senior Group,

Junior Group and Sub Junior Group. Two girls and two boys from each house participated in each category. Our Interactors were in all the positions they participated, organized, facilitated and came up as winners in all the areas.

JULY 2021

INTERACT CLUB OF DAV CENTENARY PUBLIC SCHOOL CHANDER NAGAR GHAZIABAD

NATURE CONSERVATION DAY-Students of DAVCPS celebrated Nature Conservation Day by doing various activities throughout the month. Starting with a plantation drive, doing poster making, Slogan writing, saving water and electricity, creating and planting seed bombs and writing poems, taking pledge to take care of nature etc.

Month-August 2021

1.Interactors of DAVCPSCN Collected books for Project Saahas 📚 in order to help a few Under privileged children in their education.

2. Our Interactors attended Rotary Day District Interact 3012 webinar held on the occasion of Rotary Day 29^th August.

3. Donated 2 cartons full of clothes to Goonj. 

Month-September 2021

1.Interactors of DAVCPSCN continued contributing to book collection for Project Saahas 📚 in order to help the not so fortunate friends. The collection has reached around 450.

2. Our Interactors attended Project Red Drop Webinar organized by District Interact 3012 webinar.

3. Raised awareness to abolish single use plastic. Teacher explained about the hazards of it and Interactors explained to juniors about it.

4. Collection of hair for “Project Ponytail”. The Interact Club of DAVCPSCN has signed up for hair donation for cancer patients. Wigs for cancer patients can help them to overcome the psychological effects of hair loss condition. However, natural hair wigs being expensive, poor patients in India would be unable to afford one. By this program we can make a little contribution. It’s the little efforts and can make some on happy.

  Samuhik Swacchata Abhiyan

Vanmahotsava Week Vanmahotsava week was celebrated in D.A.V.C.Public School. During the week various activities were organized. Interact Club along with the Scouts and Guides Club of the school to plant more than 600 saplings. The Plantation drive was organized in the school premises. A rally was organized to raise awareness in the viscinity. A HERBAL GARDEN  with wide variety of medicinal plants was also created in the school.

Installation ceremony

Interact Club was formed in the school premises under the ageis of Rotary Club of Capital City Delhi. The Installation Ceremony was held on 4th September 2014. The ceremony began with National Anthem followed by Saraswati Vandana & Lightening of the lamp.The Rotarian President Rtn Pankaj Rai gave Interact Oath to the the newly Inducted members.The Interactors were pinned by eminent guests from the Rotary Club and school Principal Mrs. Archna Koul and Teacher Incharge. The  Rotarian President motivated the Interactors and gave many wonderful ideas for community services.The Ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Interact Incharge.

Blood Donation Camp

Blood Donation Camp was held in the school premises The team of doctors from the Rotary  Blood Bank, Tughlakabad Delhi and Ghaziabad health Department were present.
